Camp Angel Scholarships

Scholarship applications for Summer 2024 are now closed.

Scholarship applications for Summer 2024 are being reviewed by the committee. We anticipate scholarship offers to be extended by the end of March.

Any applications received after the deadline will not be reviewed.  

Through the gracious gifts of our donors, we are able to provide a limited number of scholarships for summer camp! Scholarships are granted on a financial need basis, and priority will be given to campers who have not yet had the chance to experience The Pines.

To help as many campers as possible, we do not provide full scholarships or any scholarships for campers registered for two weeks of camp.

If we are unable to provide you with enough assistance to attend The Pines, your deposit can be refunded.

How to apply

Register your camper(s) in the week you choose and make the $150 deposit to hold each spot.

  1. Register for summer camp: register/log in.

  2. Complete a scholarship application for each camper in your camp portal’s dashboard.

    • Dashboard > Forms & Documents > Season 2024

    • Applications require the upload of a 2023 tax return. Please submit in the Forms & Documents section for the document titled “CAS Copy of Tax Return.”

Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

FAQs

  • Scholarship applications are only reviewed if they are complete. A complete application includes a $150 deposit (refundable if we aren't able to offer enough assistance for you to attend camp), your most recent tax return, and the online completed application.

  • While the $150 deposit is typically a non-refundable deposit, we are able to refund in the case that you do not receive the assistance you require. Please inform us to let us know and we'll remove your camper from his/her session and refund your deposit.

  • Priority is given to first-time campers and scholarship applicants, but if you've received a scholarship in the past you can still apply.

  • All completed applications are reviewed by the scholarship committee after the submission deadline. We will inform you of their decision by the end of March 2024.

    Any incomplete applications will not be reviewed by the committee, and are not eligible to receive scholarship funds.
