This decision has not come without its challenges, but we feel this is the right time. We have raised about 35% of the funds needed to complete the project so far and are in the process of raising the rest. This $1.5 million dollar project includes not only the 13,000 sq. ft. dining hall but also an indoor gym (temporary dining space until the dining hall is completed in May 2016). This air-conditioned gym will then become a great space for inclement weather in the summer as well as for the over 3,500 students that come out during the school year. This also means we’ll have more activities available during each hour, which translates to less crowded activities!
We have plenty of opportunities available to help support this project. You can donate online during North Texas Giving Day on September 17th, and you can attend our fall event Pours and S'mores (more details to come!). Interested in having your name or a loved one remember in a special way? Naming rights are still available on both the gym and dining hall. There are so many ways to participate in this campaign.
