DRIVING DIRECTIONS From Little Rock, Arkansas
I-30 Route
Take I-30 West towards Texarkana. (Travel for approximately 145 miles.) In Texarkana, take US-59 South towards Marshall, TX. In Marshall take Hwy 80 West for approximately 43 miles. Pass through Hallsville, Longview, White Oak and Gladewater. Turn right onto Locust Road. Look for The Pines sign! Take Locust Road one mile to a four-way stop and turn left onto White Oak. Continue for half a mile. Turn right onto White Pine, follow the road one mile to The Pines entrance. From the entrance gate merge right past the Camp Director’s house, following the signs to parking. Please remember the speed limit on the campsite is 15 mph.
From Austin
I-35 Route
Take I-35 North past Waco to Bellmead. Exit Hwy 31 East to Tyler. From Tyler take Hwy 271 North to Gladewater. In Gladewater, take a left onto Hwy 80. Travel one and a half miles and turn right onto Locust Road. Look for The Pines sign! Take Locust Road one mile to a four-way stop and turn left onto White Oak. Continue for half a mile. Turn right onto White Pine, follow the road one mile to The Pines entrance. From the entrance gate merge right past the Camp Director’s house, following the signs to parking. Please remember the speed limit on the campsite is 15 mph.
From Dallas/Fort Worth
I-20 Route
Take I-20 East to Hwy 155 (Big Sandy Exit 567), turn left (north). Take Hwy 155 to Hwy 80, turn right (east). Travel on Hwy 80 through Big Sandy. Pass through the town of Big Sandy. Continue travel for approximately seven and a half miles. Continue half a mile past the cemetery on the left. Turn left onto Locust Road. Look for The Pines sign! Take Locust Road one mile to a four-way stop and turn left onto White Oak. Continue for half a mile. Turn right onto White Pine, follow the road one mile to The Pines entrance. From the entrance gate merge right past the Camp Director’s house, following the signs to parking. Please remember the speed limit on the campsite is 15 mph.
Highway 80 Route

Take Hwy 59 through Lufkin (Hwy 59 turns into Hwy 259). Continue to I-20 West and take Hwy 271 North. Travel on Hwy 271 to Gladewater. Turn left (west) onto Hwy 80 and travel one and a half miles. Turn right onto Locust Road. Look for The Pines sign! Take Locust Road one mile to a four-way stop and turn left onto White Oak. Continue for half a mile. Turn right onto White Pine, follow the road one mile to The Pines entrance. From the entrance gate merge right past the Camp Director’s house, following the signs to parking. I-35 Route
Take I-35E South for towards Dallas. In Dallas merge onto I-635 East (Exit 440B). Stay on I-635 for approximately 20 miles. Exit Hwy 80 East (Exit 6B) towards Terrell. Hwy 80 intersects with I-20. Merge onto I-20 East heading towards Shreveport. Take I-20 East to Hwy 155 (Big Sandy Exit 567), turn left (north). Take Hwy 155 to Hwy 80, turn right (east). Travel on Hwy 80 through Big Sandy. Continue half a mile past the cemetery on the left. Turn left onto Locust Road. Look for The Pines sign! Take Locust Road one mile to a four-way stop and turn left onto White Oak. Continue for half a mile. Turn right onto White Pine, follow the road one mile to The Pines entrance.
