The Pines Campsite is located in the East Texas town of Big Sandy, approximately half an hour north of Tyler and west of Longview. Estimated travel time to Big Sandy is noted below.

Please use the driving directions provided by The Pines once you arrive in the East Texas area. We advise against using MapQuest once you arrive in East Texas, as many camper parents have been provided with incorrect campsite directions through this service. Please note that The Pines campsite sits on what was formerly known as Camp Natowa.

From Arkansas approximately 3 to 4 hours from Little Rock

From Austin approximately 5.5 hours

The Pines Business Office is located in a small office park in Richardson, and can be accessed via Central Expressway or Interstate 635.

Central Expressway Route
Take Central Expressway to Arapaho Road. Exit Arapaho Road heading East. Travel down Arapaho to Glenville Drive (NOT Greenville), turn left on Glenville. On Glenville, you will come to a four-way stop at Commerce Drive. Turn left onto Commerce. The Business Office is located on the left, in a small office park, at 1124 Commerce Drive.

I-635 Route
Take I-635 to Plano Road. Exit Plano Road heading North. Continue on Plano Road for approximately five miles. Once in Richardson, you will pass a Super Target and Richardson Square Mall. Turn left onto Arapaho Road. On Arapaho turn right onto Glenville Drive. On Glenville, you will come to a four-way stop at Commerce Drive. Turn left onto Commerce. The Business Office is located on the left, in a small office park, at 1124 Commerce Drive.
