WATER VILLAGE (ages 7-10)

CAJUN from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana

 "Hey water village, summer is almost here and I am really excited about camp, and I know all of you are as well. Get ready for an amazing summer filled with tons of fun and great opportunities to grow in your faith. Since you are in the water village you get to try every activity, play fun water games, and swim in the lake and the pool. You are going to meet great kids like yourself and hang out with some really fun counselors. The water village color is blue, so bring your favorite blue clothes to show your spirit for the water village. I can't wait to see all of your energetic, smiling faces when you come to The Pines, hope to see you soon!"

BRANCH VILLAGE  (ages 11-12)

"Hey Branch campers! How excited are you to dive into Summer Camp 2008?! I can’t wait to meet you and show you all the fun we get to have as the Branch Village! The week will be filled with things like our Branch Village Block Parties (a branch style carnival), the Branch Olympics, the passing of the Golden Branch (a service award passed among cabins), and much more! Through an exciting week of fun activities and learning about and growing in our faith, the Branch Village will focus on the importance of building true lasting friendships. And what better place to find amazing friends than the Pines?! So get yourself a green t-shirt (let’s show that Branch Village pride!) and start preparing yourselves for the best week of your summer!"

FIRE VILLAGE    (ages 13-16)

GO-GO from Coppell, Texas

"Hey Fire Village! Are you ready for an amazing summer!? I hope you are as pumped as I am to 'Dive In' to all the faith, fun, and friendships here at the Pines! We're going to have a blast with friends old and new doing activities, games, bonfire, luau, service, and so much more! As the eldest teens, our village will set the bar high in glorifying God in all we do. We will be fueling our faith lives with counselor testimonies, praise and worship, group and personal prayer, and by helping each other, truly come together as a village completely on FIRE for God! There will be a focus on fellowship and community- learning from awesome peers and incredible counselors. I can't wait to see you all this summer! Don't forget to bring red so we can sport our Fire Village pride! Get excited for summer 2008- "it's gonna be a scorcher!" God Bless!"
