Our church teaches that we all have a responsibility in the ministry of the church by our Baptismal call. In Lumen Gentium, The Light of the Nations, we learn that by working with the bishops and clergy, “the faithful who by Baptism are incorporated into Christ, are placed in the People of God, and in their own way share the priestly, prophetic and kingly office of Christ.” Our staff are living their Baptismal call, leading young people to build the Kingdom of God. (Not to mention, it’s a ton of fun getting messy playing with hundreds of kids all summer!)
